REACH (Resident Empowerment and Challenge) is a new customer-led body that will scrutinise services of Six Town Housing.
REACH will decide which services it wishes to scrutinise and will be provided with any information it requires in order to gain a detailed view of how we perform in that area.
When scrutinising an area, REACH will take into account what feedback it has received from customers from our wide range of customer consultation methods. This will ensure that REACH is focusing on the areas which matter most to our tenants. REACH will also have further powers should we be unresponsive to its recommendations.
REACH will consider the evidence put before it and make its observations, suggestions and recommendations directly to our Board. The Board will have a formal duty to respond to the group’s recommendations.
Six Town Housing is really excited about this new group. It supports our efforts as an organisation to improve our accountability, to make us more customer focused and to help us continue to deliver excellent services. Members of the group will also get full training and support along the way too!
