EVICTION

DAVID HARGREAVES
Five Quarters, Radcliffe.

On 21 August 2008, David Hargreaves was evicted from his home at Five Quarters, Radcliffe.

In order for Six Town Housing to obtain the possession order, a single complainant documented numerous incidents of fighting, shouting, screaming and banging between Mr Hargreaves and his partner, although there were also incidents of D.I.Y at unsociable hours, visitors calling at his home at all hours of the day and night, rowdy drunken behaviour and on occasion threats were made towards another resident in the vicinity of his home.

Despite receiving official warnings from Six Town Housing, the court heard evidence at two separate hearings of ongoing problems of anti social behaviour and nuisance at Mr Hargreaves home.

This result could not have been achieved without the dedication and commitment of the complainant in the case who worked tirelessly with Six Town Housing in what was a very stressful and isolated situation.
