Applying for a flat

Anyone over 60 can apply for sheltered housing.

All applications are registered through the Access and Assessment Team at Bury Council and an application form can be requested on 0161 253 5251 or by calling in at Point Blue or the housing reception at the Town Hall in Bury.

If you wish to visit any of the sheltered schemes please telephone 0161 253 6479 and an appointment for you to visit a scheme can be arranged. This is often the best way to get a feel for the surroundings, to have a chat with the warden about what services are available and see if you feel comfortable there.
