Meet the Team
The team's role is to:-
- Advise tenants about annual increases in rent payment
- Make sure rent accounts balance and that payments are posted correctly
- Deal with Direct Debits and post office payments
- Process refunds and adjustments to rent accounts
- Offer help and assistance to tenants who find it difficult to pay their rent
- Offer advice about applying for Housing Benefit
- Take action against tenants who do not pay rent which is due (rent arrears), including taking legal action
- Make referrals to Housing Advice or other agencies who can help with applying for welfare benefits and debt problems
