How do I request a new Wheelie Bin?
If your wheelie bin is lost or stolen you can contact the Council’s customer services section on 0161 253 5353 and they will order you a new one.
How do I arrange to have large items of bulky waste removed?
The council will carry out up to three bulky item uplifts per household per year with a maximum of 6 items in each uplift. The items must be freestanding e.g will not take away fitted items such as kitchen cabinets or fitted wardrobes unless they are dismantled. The items must be left at the point where the bin would normally becollected. For this service tenants should phone the Council’s customer services section on 0161 253 5353
