Gardens
Gardens that are overgrown, or filled with rubbish are unsightly and can put people off moving to the area. If a garden near you is causing problems that please let us know about it by contacting us.
A Community Housing Officer will visit the tenant and assess how bad the problem is. Depending on the problem with the garden we will talk to the tenant and give them a timescale in which to clear the garden. If they don’t do this we can do the work ourselves and charge the tenant.
If the garden does not belong to a tenant we can report it to the Environmental Health Department who can get involved and order the occupier to clear it up if it is a hazard to health.
