
We know our customers want to live on pleasant estates which are clean and well maintained. We also know our customers want to feel safe and take pride in their local area. Keeping your estate clean and tidy is one of our top priorities. We do a range of things to ensure this.
Our estate caretaking team is responsible for identifying problems on your estate and putting things right. This includes removing fly tipping and graffiti, keeping communal areas clean and carrying out some environmental improvements. The team also report problems they see to the Council if we are not responsible for the work - such as blocked drains, faulty street lights and damaged pavements / roads.
We also do a range of other things to ensure your estate remains in tip top condition. These include:
• Carrying out regular estate walkabouts;
• Providing skips and organising clean up campaigns with local communities;
• Undertaking environmental improvements to communal areas;
• Working in partnership with other agencies, such as the Council and Groundwork to keep your estates looking good; and
• Taking action against tenants who have untidy gardens.
