Estate cleaning and maintaining communal areas

Littered estates and dumped rubbish can be an eyesore and make estates look tired and neglected.  They can also put people off moving to your neighbourhood.

You can do something about this by organising a community clear up day. Clean up days are usually held at weekends so everyone can help.  Skips and all equipment needed is provided so you and your community can help remove rubbish from problem areas.  Local children usually become involved as these days are fun and sometimes rewards are given to those who join in!

For further details on clean up days in your area, please contact us.

We have a planned programme of work for looking after open spaces on estates throughout the Borough.  We have a contract with Bury Council who carry out this work on our behalf.  It includes grass cutting, shrub pruning and weeding.
  • Could you spot a job well done?
  • Would you like to volunteer to keep a check on the work of the Grounds Maintenance Contract in your area?
  • Do you think you could act as an Estate Monitor?

We need your help.  If you really want to help make a difference to your surroundings contact us.
