Paid too much

If your rent account is in credit, you can stop paying your rent until the credit has gone.

Remember, your rent must always be paid in advance.

You can also ask for a refund. If you have requested a refund we will arrange for this to be paid directly into your bank. We will normally do this within 2 weeks of receiving your request. Before we do this, we check that you do not owe the Council or us any money. If you do owe any other debts, your credit will be used to clear these first and the remainder refunded to you.
