We collect information about our customers to ensure we do not discriminate and to help us shape the services we provide around their needs.
We collect a range of information about our customers, including details on:
● Disability or any long term medical conditions
● Preferred method of contact
● Language spoken and read
● Any additional communication needs
By collecting this information, we can identify gaps in the service and improve the services we provide to you. For example, it we know a customer has difficulty reading, we can send them information as audio instead of text, or in large print. We can also read out any information we send to our customers if they want us to. Any such request will be treated sensitively and in confidence. Similarly, we can provide signers if customers have limited or no hearing. There are other things we can do to improve access as detailed in the section titled accessing the service.
