From 1 February 2024, Bury Council is responsible for managing and maintaining all council homes previously supported by Six Town Housing.

Earlier this month, we presented a cheque of £3,000 to the local charity Bury Cancer Support Centre, as part of our Transformation Fund.
Bury Cancer Support Centre is a drop-in centre for anyone affected by Cancer. Their team of experienced & professional staff and volunteers offer practical, emotional and social support for those who are struggling.
The centre applied for the funding to help create a Wellbeing and Relaxation room to deliver relaxation, mindfulness and meditation classes for all centre users, predominantly cancer patients, carers and bereaved families.
April marked 20 years since the centre opened and the charity is aiming to try and raise £20,000 to celebrate their anniversary.
