Over the next few months, our teams will be installing Carbon Monoxide detectors into all Six Town Housing properties by October 2022.

Poorly maintained appliances can give off carbon monoxide – a colourless, odourless, poisonous gas that can kill. Our tenant’s safety is very important to us and on top of our annual gas checks, these Carbon Monoxide detectors will keep you and your family safe in your home.

These installations have been advised by the government to all housing organisations across the country, so we legally have to install them.

You may be contacted over the next few months to arrange a time for us to fit these detectors. Those who have had a gas check recently will have already had theirs installed so you won’t need an appointment. These appointments will only take 5 minutes, but it is very important that we carry out these installations in your home.

If you have any questions or concerns regard this, please contact us here.
