A working smoke alarm is one of the easiest ways to ensure that yourself and your family are safe. Remember to fit smoke alarms on every level of your home.
Make sure your smoke alarm works!
Remember to check your smoke alarm regularly by pressing the button until the alarm sounds. If there’s no sound or if your smoke alarm starts to beep regularly, you need to replace the battery immediately. Remember to change the batteries at least every year, never remove them, and preferably use long-life batteries.
