A new bistro opened within Peachment Place Extra Care Scheme on Monday 14th October, available for both residents and the general public to use.
Cuppaccino, a local North West chain, is now serving breakfast 9am – 11:15am and daily specials till 2pm.
It already has a bistro situated within Red Bank Extra Care Scheme in Radcliffe which, like Peachment Place, is managed by Six Town Housing on behalf of Bury Council.
Peachment Place opened its doors at the beginning of the year, providing a range of social and health care support, including a spa room, communal lounges, 24/7 care support and now a bistro. A hair salon will also be opening within the scheme in the near future.
The extra care scheme accommodates 14 one-bed and 46 two-bed apartments for over 55s offering local people an alternative to moving into a residential care home.
James Howarth, owner of Cuppaccino said, “Our bistros within Red Bank and Peachment Place are more than just restaurants, they help residents in the schemes connect with each other and also draw in the wider community due to being open to the public.”
Cuppaccino offers fresh food, from a full English breakfast to paninis and wraps. They currently offer a 2 for £10 breakfast deal which includes 2 of either the full breakfast, vegetarian breakfast or skinny breakfast.
Peachment Place is situated on Kemp Heaton Avenue, Bury, BL9 9GQ.
