If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen living in the UK, it’s important that you apply for the EU Settlement Scheme before 30th of June 2021 if you haven’t already. If your application is successful, you’ll get either settled or pre-settled status.

Don’t leave this too late as you could put your residency within the UK at risk. The Home Office says that people who miss the deadline for “a good reason” will still be able to apply. As of yet, no details have been given as to what constitutes as a good reason.
