Around 50 children, plus their parents, attended an Easter Egg-stravaganza family fun day at Chesham Fold Community Centre on Wednesday April 4th, which was organised by the local Tenant and Resident Association (TRA) to support families living on the estate.
The event included Easter themed games and activities, including an egg hunt, face painting and a bonnet competition. All attending children also received their lunch and an Easter egg.
Duncan Smith, a Committee member at Chesham Fold TRA, said, "The aim of the event was to bring members of the community together and entertain families during half term. We wanted it to be affordable too, with a meal included within the low £1.50 entry cost. This was to ensure the day was accessible to all local families, including those who may struggle with finances. We will be relaunching our youth club in the near future, to provide further support to families and help entertain young people on our estate."Back to news
