LET’S manage tough times

The council is leading borough-wide effort to support people during the cost-of-living crisis.

This summer, the council launched its Cost of Living and Anti-poverty Strategy to provide support for immediate hardship but also to help people to meet financial challenges in the long term.

Supporting the most vulnerable residents is a key part of the Councils Let’s Do It Community Strategy.

The council is working with partners from across the public, private, community and voluntary sectors to tackle the cause of why people might fall into hardship. They are providing help with a range of issues including food poverty, finance, debt and wellbeing.
