We are in search of images that capture the lockdown spirit

Show us your photographs of #pullingtogether!

We know our customers and communities have come together like never before during Covid - new groups and new support circles have all helped us to work through the pandemic. We want to celebrate this in style and through a picture that really captures the Six Town spirit! Do you know someone, or a group that has made a difference?

We are in search of images that capture the lockdown spirit – perhaps a neighbour who arranged food parcels or helped with gardening, a community group who organised Covid-friendly activities in your neighbourhood or somebody helping children or older people on your street to put a smile on their face.

The photo needs to have been taken between May 2020 and January 23rd 2022. So even if you don’t have a photo of the person/group yet, it’s time to get snapping!

The theme of the competition is #pullingtogether. The winner of the competition will win a £50 gift card. The competition winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from our teams and communities. Winner will be announced in February 2022.

The deadline for entries is mid-night on Sunday 23rd January.

Please note! The competition is now closed. Thank you to all entries.

Annual NFA #pullingtogether competition

We are proud to be an ALMO (arm’s-length management organisation) who manage around 8,000 properties on behalf of Bury Council. As being part of nationwide network of ALMOs, we are taking part of NFA’s (National Federation of ALMOs) annual photography competition.

We would like you to represent us as a part of Six Town Housing community! Your winning photo and story will be entered into this prestigious competition where different housing organisations compete against each other to win the title of the best photograph of #pullingtogether. Your photo and story will be on display in NFA’s Birmingham conference where the winner gets announced in April ’22, and featured in related news stories for thousands of people to see.

By entering you are giving a permission to use the photograph online and in printed materials by Six Town Housing and NFA.  We are also looking for stories to go with the photograph, so please make sure that your subject is happy to share their story.
