Six Town Housing’s Annual Gardening competition has returned, with prizes available for the best gardens in communities across the borough.
There are 6 categories to enter this year with prizes for the best front and back gardens, small spaces, DIY projects, edible gardens and improvements that have been carried out during the lockdown. The winner of each category will win a £25 online shopping voucher.
A spokesperson from Six Town Housing said, “Every year, we love seeing all the entries from our tenants and we didn’t want that to stop during these challenging times, especially as gardening can have such positive effects on a person’s wellbeing.”
The competition is open to tenants and residents living in homes managed by Six Town Housing, or groups who volunteer within the surrounding communities. The deadline for entries is Friday 26th June 2020.
In line with Government guidance to reduce unnecessary contact, the competition will be run entirely online this year with entrants asked to submit photos and videos to be reviewed by judges.
