Six Town Housing have issued a written tenancy warning to a woman in Prestwich, who broke social distancing guidelines to host a party on Saturday 18th April. Reports have suggested that the gathering resulted in a female police officer being assaulted.
Members of separate households were at the property and were asked to leave under the Coronavirus Act 2020. The tenant who rents the property has received a tenancy warning letter from Six Town Housing and faces further action if she continues to break the lockdown rules.
A spokesperson for Six Town Housing said, “We are currently working with the police to ensure the tenant does not host further gatherings at her property and have issued a formal reminder of their tenancy obligations.”
