Do you have an idea that could help to transform your neighbourhood and to have a positive lasting impact on tenants and communities? 

Now you can make those ideas a reality! We have launched a new fund called ‘Transformation Fund’ for local organisations, community groups and Tenants and Residents Associations. Apply for up to £3,000!

All applications for this fund must meet one of the following 3 key themes:

Neighbourhoods and the Environment - from environmental improvement projects to projects addressing anti-social behaviour and crime.

People and Communities - from health and wellbeing activities to socially excluded to community cohesion projects.

Development, Training and Employment – from employment training and volunteering projects to projects involving digital inclusion and technology

Who Can Apply?

All eligible groups or organisations must be currently operating in Bury and understand the neighbourhoods in which Six Town Housing operates. They must also have a bank account and be constituted or be a registered organisation (or work in partnership with one that is). 

Eligible groups include:

  • Constituted community groups, voluntary groups and Tenant and Resident Associations
  • Registered charities
  • Schools
  • Faith and cultural groups
  • Other not-for-profit organisations such as Community Interest Companies (CIC)
