Winner of Six Town Housing's photo competition announced

Six Town Housing would like to announce the winner of their Share Your Summer competition. The competition, which recieved nearly 30 entries, encouraged their tenants to send photos of what this summertime was like in their communities with the chance to win a £50 shopping voucher.

Some of the entries included tenants who had spent time tidying their gardens, tenants relaxing at Redbank Extra Care Scheme and children enjoying the summer holidays, making sandcastles at The Rock in Bury.

The winner of the competition was Leonard Quinn, The Chair of Peachment Place Tenants and Residents Association. He sent a photo of some of the Peachment Place residents enjoying themselves at a coffee morning.

When told he had won the competition, Leonard said, “I'm overjoyed to have won this competition. It has really boosted my ego for the day! We do our best at Peachment Place to involve as many tenants as possible to participate now that we've come out of lockdown after 18 months. We're all here for each other and hope to carry on the good work looking after each other.”
