This week, Tenant Engagement Advisors have been out in communities delivering Winter Wellbeing packs to our most vulnerable tenants and families to help them during Wintertime.

These packs contain non-perishable food, warm hats, gloves, thermal socks, thermometers, mini hot water bottle, thermal mug, anti-bacterial gel and the choice between either a single quilt or a blanket. The packs also included number of leaflets with lots of tips and information on how to save on energy costs.

The team have produced 200 packs and they will all be delivered before Christmas. The packs were allocated from referrals that were received from Six Town Housing staff, local charities, community groups and schools.

Debbie Standring, Tenant Engagement Advisor, said, “The rising costs of fuel, food and energy are going to impact households that are already struggling. We wanted to put these packs together to help tenants stay warm and well. We have linked with organisations like Age UK, Fire Service and Public Health to provide information booklets to advise what support is available and to provide energy saving tips.”
