If you are struggling with debt, there are a number of organisations that provide professional help and advice. These independent advice agencies can provide unbiased advice at no cost.

These include the Citizens Advice Bureau for Bury and Bolton, who can provide you with the information needed to help you make the right choices. You can contact them in the following ways:

  • Phone 0808 278 7804, Monday to Friday, 10am - 4pm
  • Video drop-in via link on their website, Monday 1pm - 3.30pm and Tuesdays 9.30am - 12noon

If you prefer face-to-face contact, the Citizens Advice Bureau run local drop-in sessions at the following locations:

  • St Johns House, The Rock, Bury, BL9 0QU (open Mondays 10am – 3pm)
  • 26-28 Mawdsley Street, Bolton, BL1 1LF (open Tuesdays 10am - 3.30pm)
