Bill Bailey has taken up a caretaking role at Six Town Housing through Steps To Success (S2S). Before Bill got this job he hadn’t worked for 5 years and spent most of his time watching TV.
S2S helped in different ways from form filling to interviews and building his confidence. After the help he received from S2S, he had an interview and due to the support he was given from S2S, his interview was successful and he got the job.
Bill was learning on the job because he was working with fellow caretaker Nick. During the first two weeks of the job he was still learning new skills. His favourite part of the job is meeting new people and working as part of a team.
