Dot Willis found a new job as a Customer Service Advisor at Dunelm Mill after receiving help from Steps To Success (S2S). Dot was off work due to struggling with anxiety and stress. She first met S2S staff at a job and welfare event in Bury and after speaking to them about her position, the team suggested a number of services she could access for support.
To help boost her confidence and gain customer service experience, Dot attended a careers event where she helped S2S staff on their stall. She was spotted by a Job Centre Advisor at the event after impressing them by dealing with customers in a professional manner. The Advisor put her forward for a telephone interview with Dunelm Mill for a Customer Service vacancy. Dot used her newfound confidence and conducted a successful interview.
