Repairs Direct vans and lorries

We carry out repairs in line with our published repair priorities which have been agreed with tenants. The more urgent the work, the quicker it will get done. We will respond to an emergency repair within 24 hours of it being reported to us.

Just click the "Report a repair" button at the bottom of this page.

There are a number of other ways you can order a repair.

If it's a small repair, have you seen our D.I.Y booklet?

We also offer D.I.Y training so keep an eye out on our events calendar for a free session near you.

Other ways to report a repair:

1. Telephone us

You can phone us on 0161 686 8000, our phone lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4pm Friday.

If you ring outside these hours, your call will be dealt with by the emergency 'Call Out' Team who will decide whether your repair needs to be dealt with as an emergency.

If they decide it is not an emergency, your request will be given to our repairs helpdesk staff the following day.

2. E-mail us

You can e-mail your request, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to housingenquiries@bury.gov.uk.

3. Download our Self Serve App

You can download our Self Serve App from Google Play or Apple Stores where you can report repairs, pay your rent and much more. Find out more here

4. Tenant and Resident Associations (TRAs)

TRAs are based within communities across the borough. Some TRAs offer ways to support residents with reporting repairs or other issues when they are unable to access the contact options above. Find out where your nearest TRA is here.
