A hate crime is defined as an incident which you or someone else believes is motivated by someone else’s prejudice or hatred of you because of your:

● Religion
● Sex or gender identity
● Sexual orientation
● Disability
It can include verbal abuse, damage to property, graffiti, threats or physical attack. It is a criminal offence to commit hate crime.
All reports are taken extremely seriously and in the strictest confidence. If you prefer your report can be kept anonymous and you will not be asked for any personal details.
