Six Town Housing has launched a fund for local organisations, community groups and Tenants and Residents Associations to help transform neighbourhoods and to have a positive lasting impact on Six Town Housing tenants and communities.
All applications for this fund must meet one of the following 3 key themes:
Aim – To improve the look and feel of our neighbourhoods for the future.
This could involve:
Aim – To develop thriving communities that have a positive lasting impact on our tenants and our neighbourhoods.
This could involve:
Aim – To provide relevant opportunities for our tenants which will have a long-term impact and contribute to them reaching their full potential.
This could involve:
The Transformation Fund is a pot of £50,000 made available by Six Town Housing and while there is no limit on the amount an organisation can apply for, we would encourage applications to be no more that £3,000. However, this is only a guide and more may be awarded to larger projects or projects that can evidence they can have a significant impact. Projects must be self-sustainable after the initial funding and any equipment, assets or land must be maintained by the group/organisation.
All eligible groups or organisations must be currently operating in Bury and understand the neighbourhoods in which Six Town Housing operates. They must also have a bank account and be constituted or be a registered organisation (or work in partnership with one that is).
The applications will be decided by a grant panel consisting of Six Town Housing staff and tenant representatives, which will meet every 2 months to decide the outcome of applications.
All applicants must work with a Six Town Housing Tenant Engagement Advisor throughout the application process and the project.
