Since April 2023, we have awarded funding to various groups across Bury to help them run community projects that benefit our tenants and communities. Here are some of the projects that we have supported over the last 6 months:
- Peachment Place Easter Party
- Red Bank Communal Gardens
- 11 Coronation parties
- Plants, tools, and soil for various community gardens
- Cultural Community events
- Mystery Tour for the elderly
As well as established community groups, smaller groups of neighbours who live in our communities can also apply for this grant, such as gardening groups and home watch groups, to help with small scale projects.
