From 1 February 2024, Bury Council is responsible for managing and maintaining all council homes previously supported by Six Town Housing.

Bury Council has formally taken over responsibility for managing and maintaining 7,700 homes across the borough, following the transfer of staff and services from Six Town Housing.

This means that from 1 February, services like repairs and grounds maintenance are the responsibility of the Council.

Staff will wear Bury Council ID badges but other branding, like vehicles and building signage, will be updated on a phased basis to keep additional costs to a minimum.
