RAAC Safety

There has been extensive media coverage recently regarding the presence of reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC) in a number of public buildings in England. The Regulator of Social Housing has said that RAAC ‘is not widespread in social housing’.

We take the safety of all our customers seriously, and to provide assurance, we have analyzed our stock records, and have been surveying a small number of particular property types that are more likely than others to contain RAAC based on their age and construction type, and will ensure residents are kept up to date on the outcome of this process.

We will update any residents directly impacted and provide further updates through our website. However, please contact us immediately if you have any concerns.
