From 1 February 2024, Bury Council is responsible for managing and maintaining all council homes previously supported by Six Town Housing.

Thanks to Sky Up, you can now access free Wi-Fi and use of laptops and iPads at Topping Fold Community Centre.
Sky Up’s digital hubs support those who are at risk of digital exclusion through digital training, reliable internet connections, and the right equipment to help people learn and grow their digital experience. The programme targets two groups; under 25’s in low-income areas, such as children who don’t have a suitable device to complete their online schoolwork, and over 65’s, who often face digital exclusion due to lack of skills, a lack of trust, and not having a reliable internet connection.
Topping Fold Community Centre has been given 3 years of free Wi-Fi, 2 laptops and 3 iPads for people to come in and use who don’t have access to a reliable internet connection or the right equipment.
