From 1 February 2024, Bury Council is responsible for managing and maintaining all council homes previously supported by Six Town Housing.

Our Tenant Satisfaction Measures

In April 2023, the Housing Regulator instructed all housing landlords to survey tenants about how satisfied they are with our services. The regulator requested we receive at least 560 survey replies based on how many homes we manage, but over the last year, we have had 880 replies to our survey! These surveys have given you the chance to report what you like, dislike, and any outstanding issues. We will continue sending these surveys out on the first anniversary of living in your home. 

We will look at all of the responses and work with managers to draw up an improvement plan in partnership with our Tenant Voice Group.

Here are some of the results of your feedback:

  • We followed up 55 service request
  • Our repair priorities have been updated
  • An ASB training programme for staff will start in April.
